Hercules DJ Control MP3 E2 doesn't work

Hi,
When I connect my Hercules DJ Control MP3 E2 MIDI controller the word Hercules shows up in djay and the lights on the controller turns on. However, if I press any buttons on the controller nothing happens, but if I turn on the track in djay dicectly, the Play button turns on. I googled it but I can’t find anything …

Please provide more information so we can reproduce your case.

  • Which OS X version do you have?
  • Which djay version do you have?
  • Are you using an external USB hub to connect your controller? If yes, please try connecting it directly to your Mac.
  • Please download the MIDI Monitor app and check whether your controller sends MIDI messages. http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/

I have Mountain Lion (10.8.1)
My djay version is 4.0.6
I always plug it in directly.
My controller is not sending any signals.
I also tried the controller in the free version of VirtualDJ and it works there but only for 10 minutes because it is the free version.
