How do I map instant fx on djay pro mac to pioneer ddjsx2

Hi is it possible to load the instant fx onto your controller instead of having to access them on the laptop? Any help would be appreciated, have not much experience with mapping…Nicole

Hi Nicole Miller,

yes this is possible.
If you want to e.g. map an instant FX at one of your Pads, do the following.

  1. open the midi mapping window (cmd + Y)
  2. hit the Pad button you want to use for the instant FX
  3. select the Deck you want to affect with the Instant FX as Target in the Midi mapping window
  4. Click at the Action Commands and scroll down till you find Instant FX and select the preferred FX.
