How to update the DJAY library

Even I updated tag information like genre in itunes or media donkey, djay does not show them? How can I force djay to updae library information?

Same here. I would be able to batch-re-organise my tags, but: i have to know, what exactly is the common name/field of the tag-fields shown in djay 2 pro? In my case i need information about “version” (tagfield calles subtitle). I can batch-copy it everywhere by mp3tag, but: wich fields are really shown n djay pro?

I am sorry to tell you but the tags of iTunes are not transferable to djay Pro.
We recommend doing your library management directly in djay Pro.

Thank you very much for your fast reply. Actually it seems that only some tags are not working, because tags like title, interpret, genre … work.

But if it is really the fact that DJay uses its own tags, what shall all the user do who worked with iTunes, MediaDonkey etc. These programs follow the standard tag fields, so why makes DJay here an exception and makes life difficult?

I have a huge music library and I cannot re-input all data again.

Also I use in parallel Virtual DJ since DJAY still has no support for two soundcards. I cannot enter all information for only one program. For this there are standardized tags.
