Itchin to get the Pro. My question since I’ve never seen one up close yet…Does iPad snap into a 30 pin connector that is mounted into a cavity/port on the unit OR does it have a cord extending that you plug in and tuck under ipad or out of the way.

It’s going to eventually need an adapter cause next years iPads more than likely will also adapt to the Lightning 8 prong connector just as iPhone 5 has. And if built in to unit may be harder to have adapter.

it is a small connector cable at the top of the unit

Just wondering about the longevity of it. I would hope it could work with future iPads.
