iPad 2 on iOS 8.1.2 failing to connect to DDJ-WeGo using Djay2 and We-Cai cable

Hi,

I have an iPad 2 running iOS 8.1.2 and a Pioneer DDJ-WeGo using the We-Cai cable and camera connection kit (usb to 30 pin) I downloaded Djay2 under the impression the WeGo would connect. I updated the WeGo to firmware 9.09 as recommended for iOS 7 (and up I assume) and have no connection or occasionally a message appears saying “this iPad does not support this accessory”. Any help to get this setup working would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Simon,

* Do you have a genuine Apple Camera Adapter?
* What are you using as power source?

Thanks for the quick reply.

The Camera adapter came from eBay

The power supply is a 1 Amp unit running off mains power
