Summary of the issue:
Pre-Cueing issues occur when playing the second or third album. While there is a workaround, the behavior is inconsistent and unexpected — therefore, I consider it a bug.
How to reproduce the issue:
- Load the first album – nothing yet to Pre-Cueing.
- Load the second album – Pre-Cueing still works or it fails
- Load the third album – Pre-Cueing fails always.
- In some cases, it fails immediately after loading the second album.
Yes, I do switch the headphone icon to monitor Pre-Cueing on the right channel.
To restore Pre-Cueing functionality:
- Open Neural Mix Crossfaders
- Toggle the Pre-Cueing button off and back on again
This temporarily resolves the issue till the next album, then again of fails.
To solve it, I select “Neural Mix Crossfaders” + Toggel button to enable Pre-Cueing.
Audio Setup:
- External DAC: Fosi Audio DS2
- Line Outputs:
- Line 1 → Headphones
- Line 2 → Mixer (balanced)
- Both outputs produce equal stereo audio.
To me it’s seems a bug when I need to toggle the EQ button to make Pre-Cueing to work again.
