is there a way you can play the audio through airplay and have Pre-cueing coming through the headphone?

when i use djay over airplay and turn pre-cueig on it uses the speaker on my tv to do so, not through the headphones connected directly to the ipad. i want the pre-cueing through the headphones and sound through airply
