LPD8 MK2 Action list is empty in djay Pro 5.6.8

MY QUESTION:

Hello,

I’m trying to use my Akai LPD8 MK2 as an FX controller with djay Pro.

I found a strange problem.

  • The LPD8 is detected by macOS.
  • MIDIView receives Note On/Off and CC messages correctly.
  • Akai LPD8 Editor communicates correctly with the controller.
  • The DDJ-FLX4 mapping editor works normally.

However, when I open:

MIDI > Configure LPD8 MK2

and press a pad, the MIDI message is detected, but the Action list is completely empty.

If I configure the DDJ-FLX4, all actions appear normally.

Has anyone seen this before?

Does anyone have a working .djayMidiMapping file for the Akai LPD8 MK2?

My goal is to use the LPD8 as a dedicated FX controller for djay Pro.
