This is a basic request based around having a modifier option!
given that we have presets for midi configurations of our controllers, if we had the ability to switch midi presets for a given controller we could effectively had a psuedo modifier state, where we simply change the controller preset, and remap accordingly…
be a bit of a pain in the arse to remap things… but im sure it would be useful

its a straight forward suggestion but would solve the issue of modifiers…as you can switch configurations without issue… so long as you have sorted your mappings!

i could do this using keyboard maestro, as a work around…
but it would be more useful to the masses, if they understand the benefits of switching mappings, of the same controller…
additionally there “may” be a need to see which mapping is in play… unless you reduce your config mappings to just 3 or have a coloured LED on your controller to signal which preset you are on
Yeah, this sounds like a decent potential work around for modifiers.
