A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:

- I post Mix Transitions on Social Media. While creating a Post an unexpected behavior happened while using Neural Mix Crossfaders. Where Incoming Deck stops when Vocal STEM fader is switched back to Outgoing Deck. Harmonics and Bass were at full Incoming Deck. Video 1-Evidence. Video 2-shows the compromise at 34 sec.

B) DETAILED STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Use Neural Mix Crossfader, slide all STEMS from Outgoing Deck towards Incoming Deck. No Matter where Harmonics, Bass, Drums are, Vocals Will End Mix if user chooses to slide Vocals fully back to Outgoing Deck.

C) EXPECTED RESULTS:

Allow Outgoing Deck to retain Vocal STEM when chosen by user.

D) ACTUAL RESULTS:

- Vocal STEM dominates the Mixer, thus Stopping Incoming Deck is if to fully go back to Outgoing Deck.

Hi @LaidbackFred, thanks for the detailed report and both videos. They made this much easier to follow.

Video 2 points to Crossfader FX’s **Auto-play when moving crossfader** option as the likely trigger, not the stems themselves. At about 0:09, as soon as the vocal fader leaves the Deck 2 side, Deck 1 starts and SYNC turns on for both decks. At 0:34, the moment that same fader lands back on Deck 2, Deck 1 stops and jumps back to where it started. That happens even though Harmonics and Bass are still all the way on Deck 1.

Could you try this and tell me what happens?

1. Go to **Settings \> General \> Crossfader FX** and turn off **Auto-play when moving crossfader**.
2. Start Deck 1 with its play button, then repeat the same stem moves.

If Deck 1 keeps playing with the vocals back on Deck 2, that’s our culprit. If it still stops, run it once more with Crossfader FX turned off completely. You can tell it’s off when the line on the main crossfader turns white instead of blue.

Either way, starting Deck 1 manually should let you keep making your transition posts without the vocals cutting everything short. I hope that helps!

Got it @Slak_Jaw

Makes sense..

In my example, If the user wants to back track vocals do not start transition with the vocals.

In this example I started with BASS, making BASS the trigger. Leaving the option to back track Vocals without stopping oncoming Deck 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
