Neural Mix EQ and Neural Mix Crossfader

I’m a beginner djay and new to djay pro. Please, can someone explain to me the difference between Neural Mix EQ and Neural Mix Crossfader?

Hi @Femidigz,

  • The biggest difference is the NM EQs control the STEMs of each Deck independently.
  • The NM Crossfaders are used to transition between Deck 1 and Deck 2 STEMs with a single control.
  • So, the NM Crossfaders are great for example to easily swap the vocals of Deck 1 with the vocals of Deck 2.
  • You can achieve a similar result using NM EQs, but you need to use both Vocal NM EQ knobs at the same time rather than a single NM Crossfader slider.

I have a GRV 6. Hour do you suggest I map the neural mix crossfaders?

You’re welcome @Femidigz. If it were me, I would probably map the NM Crossfaders to the Deck 3 or Deck 4 EQ knobs as I rarely mix with more than 3 Decks at a time.
