Hi all, long time no see!!
So nearly 3 years ago I made this suggestion.
It never materialised.
Along comes today’s update and it introduces a new Mute FX function which is essentially what I’d asked for with the bounce loop, so cutting a bounce loop is made to sound less harsh, and loops / fades out.
Hoorah!!! It’s doable!
Can we now ask the devs to also apply the NM Mute FX option to the bounce loop section as well please?
It will just make vocal bounce loops more user friendly and less ‘choppy’.
Cheers

Hey @sooteee, welcome back! Thanks for the suggestion… again! Good idea - got my vote. I’ve passed this onto the dev team. Thanks again!

One workaround to this is to duplicate the bounce loop function and instead of a bounce loop add the neural mix vocal out to the same pad. when you press it it’ll bounce loop and vocal out. Not sure if that’s what you’re looking for.

Thanks @eyeseeyou01 that works if I want to bounce / fade immediately, but this more relates to having bounce loop do its thing for as long as required, maybe changing it from 2-1-1/2-1/4 etc.
The problem here is if you apply it to the vocal or harmonic stem, the instant you stop pressing the button it just cuts dead which can sound really awful if done badly.
So this suggestion is to just add a fading tail that activates when you release the bounce loop. It would just make it sound less jarring and harsh like it can currently, if not used accurately.

You’d have to go into the midis setting and switch it toggle instead of hold.
