It can maybe trickle charge, it’s 5v amp with low ampere. Wouldn’t rely on it too much, best is to try it out and see what happens. Maybe put the brightness on max on your iPad so you experience “worst case scenario”

Got a weird thing happening. I’ve been practicing at home with my iPad and no tour pro and x1. Everything working fine, including charging the iPad I get to a venue and everything worked for a little while, but now the mixtour keeps Disconnecting and the music stopping. I will admit, maybe it’s not the best quality USB hub anybody else had this thing happen?
Knowing the mixtour pro uses USB-C power delivery, I wouldn’t recommend running it of the USB hub from the X1
Yeah, I figured that out when I was first trying it out at home it wouldn’t give power to the iPad. I was using a fairly cheap powered USB, but for some reason, it just wasn’t working great. I’ll try a better quality one.

Hey @Kaloyan thanks for creating and sharing this. I got back to DJay today now that Spotify is again an option and was looking for a good mapping to use my X1 MK3 for transport and effects and your mapping is just perfect for that. Please share if you have a newer version of the mapping that you would be willing to share also.

Sure, it’s on v0.5 now. Let me just wrap up the description of the latest versions, and double check the latest state of the mapping for bugs and consistency. It will take me a couple of days to go through it once more.
And happy to be of assistance. I thought no one is really using this mapping, and not worth to keep it up to date here. As long as someone finds it useful, I’ll happily put some time to update it.

Dear @Kaloyan, your mapping template is exactly what I was looking for. I have a bit of a hybrid setup with my mono synths and maschine MK3 connected to a Xone 96 mixer. I added the Traktor X1 MK3 to layer my own melodies on stems from my favorite tracks in Traktor. With Spotify back in DJay I got another pro license and wanted to use my existing controllers for transport and effects and your template is perfectly made for this. Thanks so much for sharing an update if you have one ready, but I have no complaints or bugs found on the current implementation and I recommend it to everybody who’s interested in giving it a try.

I used that awesome X1 map on my Mac mini m4 and it is beautiful! I am using it with a Novation launch control XL, and a Novation launchpad 2. The built in support for launchpad allows instant access to all of your looper cells. I modified it to replace the sampler keys with solo/exclusive and mute for each of 4 neural mix controls across two decks. Top row of knobs on the launch control XL handle individual track volumes for the looper. The rest of the launch control XL is dedicated to effects. Along with your X1 map, this combo allows me to control what I actually use.
Also… Dante virtual sound card out to 2x8 Dante to analog interface. Handles cue channels.

Hi @Phil3, welcome to the Community! For most Traktor controllers, you need to switch them to MIDI Mode before you can use them with other DJ software. This is our guide for a different controller so I’m not sure if it’s the same for yours. I recommend you search the user manual for something similar.
