I was playing out last night and noticed that OS notification sounds (specifically my Facebook messages) were audible thru my DJ speakers while playing. Haven’t noticed this on other DJ software. I feel like these should be suppressed while playing because they can interrupt your set.
I’ve not noticed this when I used my Numark Mixtrack Pro II’s audio interface, but that is likely because djay pro is the only app I am running that is outputting to that device. My system’s other sounds output through my laptop as usual and the program mix comes out of my mixtrack. Interesting option suggestion though.
