**NOTE: Please use the search function above before posting to avoid creating duplicate topics.** - **Please also consider sharing a short video or screenshots to help clarify your suggestion** YOUR SUGGESTION: 1. have the same options in rekordbox to customize every fx pad manually. many of them in djay have full attack on all pads.. making most fx useless on pads. 2. make cxr knob changeable. from the locked fx it is in now. or is it just me who dont understand? i try changing hundred times. but when i touch the knob, it switches auto to original setting. ---

Thanks for the suggestion @AndyBoPandy. I’ll share this with the dev team for consideration. Please don’t forget to vote for your own suggestion as well. Also, can you please clarify what you mean by “Make cxr knob changeable”? I don’t know what cxr stands for. Maybe you could demo your issue with a short screen recording to clarify. ---

CFX, riser and what different fx it is on the filter.. high low plain, button is orange u get riser and what it is. then shift cfx you get two other effects.. those i want to be able to customize. making changes in the program just reverts when touching the filter knob. and the padmode to correct visual mode on screen. cue pad, cues on screen. fx pad mode, fx on screen.. and so on.. ---

fair. umbrella all midi into one. that is also my confusion. why? why why why, whyy? is there a multi year problem to have hardware buttons do what they say on screen. or explicit use of midimaping, left to the user not to do some stupid mapping,. i all ready done that in my quest for these daily use and remap investigations. making a whole mess in the beginning. maybe a cleaner more easy way, easy visible overview? to connect fx channels with a certain stem.i love this setting, somehow its confusing me. much to do with the fx not able to change effect to any other style, reverts back. and also. when i change what the effect triggers for stems, the fx3 changes its properties from riser echo to not with echo delay or whats in it, but also, just cuz there is an active thread on the matter dont mean its progressing or being worked on where should i post this again? 😃 midi all midi ---

@AndyBoPandy fair question, and I understand the frustration. The MIDI commands for switching the on-screen pad mode views were added to djay a while back. The dev team then had to disable them after finding edge-case issues with certain controllers. Getting this working is still a priority for the team, but it doesn’t meet our quality standards for a public release yet. So the thread isn’t just sitting there. The work is ongoing; it just isn’t ready. You can create a new topic for CFX/Filter FX part in the Suggestions section. Thanks! ---
