A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:
- Videos playback is intermittent and erratic, especially on autoplay. frequent black screens. If press pause for a few seconds then video will appear for a while, then go black again. Videos are MP4 H264 and play perfectly on VDJ. System resources: Total memory used 5.25gb of 8.00gb.

Hi @Michael_Sumner, welcome to the Community! Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue.
1.Are you playing the videos on your Mac’s built in screen our outputting to an external monitor?
2. Are you using Airplay?
3. Are you running any other apps or perhaps an iCloud backup in the background?
4. Are the video files stored on your internal Mac drive?

Hi and thanks for getting back to me. Well I hooked up my projector and it
all seems to be working fine now. Still can’t understand why that should
be. I’m pleased that it’s working however I would say that your
instructions need to be a bit clearer as they don’t explain fully how to
configure for music video display. I spent a lot of time trying to figure
this all out as I thought my video files were corrupted (re-installed a
load of them). From the forum it looks like others have the same issue. If
it is the case that it will only work when a second screen is connected
(rather than just the internal monitor) then I think that’s worth
mentioning.
