# Preview Player: enable Seeking with the Browser encoder

## Desired behaviour: (Traktor)

- a) enable **seeking** the Preview Player with the Browser **MIDI encoder**
- b) enable interaction “ **hold** ” on the “preview selected start“
- .

## Current behaviour: (Djay)

- seeking: only _ **buttons** _ are supported ([previous discussion](https://community.algoriddim.com/t/how-to-preview-songs-without-mouse-midi-control-to-seek-preview/29067/8))
- start player: only **toggle** is supported

## Workflow

This is a really convenient workflow:

- **Hold** a button to start listening the preview player

- **Without moving your hand** , turn the encoder to seek inside the preview player

- **Release** the button to stop listening

- **Without moving your hand** , turn the encoder to seek to select another track
