Pro Interface & Video Mixing for Premium Android devices

I am writing to formally request the implementation of the Pro Interface (including 4-deck support) and Video Mixing features for the Android version of your application.

While I understand the historical challenges of Android fragmentation, the current landscape of premium Android devices has changed dramatically. Devices like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra possess immense processing power, massive RAM, and exceptional displays that easily rival or exceed their iOS counterparts. This flagship hardware is more than capable of handling real-time dual-channel video rendering and complex multi-deck configurations without breaking a sweat.

Furthermore, many users, including myself, connect our MIDI controllers (such as the Hercules DJControl Mix Ultra) via wired USB-C connections. This setup guarantees zero latency and flawless MIDI communication, completely eliminating any wireless connectivity concerns.

It is highly frustrating to have top-tier hardware artificially limited by software constraints. If optimizing the video engine for all Android devices is not financially viable, I strongly urge you to consider a tiered approach: unlocking these “Pro” features exclusively for high-end devices or specific flagship processors (like the Snapdragon 8 Gen series).

Premium Android users are willing to invest in professional software, provided the feature parity with iOS is respected. Thank you for your time and for the continuous work you put into the app. We look forward to seeing the Android ecosystem fully supported in future updates.

Best regards,

Manu V

Hi @Manu_V, welcome to the Community! Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll share this with the dev team for consideration. In the meantime, there is an existing suggestion topic for 4-Deck Mode on Android if you’d like to upvote it:
