RANE Four - External mode & CFX

Been using the Rane four for a while with djpro updated to 5.3 on a Windows laptop

The one thing that made me fall in love with djay pro is the crossfader effects but when using external mode the crossfader dissapears and the best function of DJP is no longer available

I’d use internal but that disables the mixer effects and internal doesn’t give me the proper channels

So my question is, is there a work around where I can use the eternal mixer while being able to use the software crossfader

I’ve searched for this but can’t seem to get a proper answer

Hi @Methodz99, currently there is no workaround that I’m aware of to achieve what you’re after here.

Do we know if this is specific to Rane?

Would I have the same issue with something like the flex10 or grv6?

This is specific to all External Mixer mode devices like the RANE Four. I’m not sure about the FLX10, but I’m pretty sure that the GRV6 is an Internal Mixer Mode device. I’ll check with our engineering team to be certain, but with the long weekend, I probably won’t hear back until Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
