IMHO it’s a bit of a damp squib announcement from JWiLL though, as we already know support is coming (the NAMM video, VDJ beta testing). 
It stops people from doom posting about it not being true etc, although I’m sure they will still find some way of bending into a negative.

yeah but there was no mention of Djay pro support. I wonder if we have to wait for another firmware update, SMDH…..
RANE One support with djay is not related to the Engine DJ 5.0 release. We are still waiting for a firmware update from RANE. I’ll share more news when I have it.

I’m transitioning from Traktor to djay and I’ve been really missing this feature. I want a System One in my setup soon, and this feature combined with djay Pro would be fantastic. I’m not entirely sure, but it seems like we have pre-listening in the System One engine.
This is good to know but also….if it’s reliant on the hardware this doesn’t bode well for my aging mixstream pro go
@eyeseeyou01 we already support the Mixstream Pro Go on macOS, iOS and Windows.
I was leaning more towards actual wave form integration and not just making the mixstream a midi controller. Basically would love to see the wave forms appear on the screen like it’s supposedly going to be able to on the rane one
