I’m using dj 2 on the iPad 2017 with numark controller and when I record a mix sometimes the recording play back volume is very low what am I doing wrong ?

I have the same controller so hopefully I should be able to help…
I generally use the record function to edit tracks,make them more dj friendly and what I do is I raise the gain of the track to the max and have the rotary knobsat around 60%…This generally gives me a good recording level…you don’t have to worry about distorting as Djay2 has the audio limiter setting which prevents that…
If you’re trying to record a live set then you would have to adjust the master level so that it’s not too loud…
Try this and see how you go,
