First of all… I’m loving this controller!!! So compact, but so powerful! Having much fun with it and all its possibilities!
This is a personalyzed midi mapping I created for Djay Pro on IOS. I think it should work in Mac OS and Windows as well.
I’ve implemented partial control over Decks 3 and 4, which I use as Scratch Decks.
I Used the SYNC button as a secondary SHIFT, and SHIFT + SYNC = SYNC.
I’ve managed to set correct control over the jog wheels on all 4 decks using modifiers on the .TXT file.
MIXER SECTION
Gain knobs = Gain for decks 3 or 4
SYNC + Gain = Tempo for decks 3 or 4. I found it more useful to use the Gain knobs than the tempo faders for 3 and 4, this way you don’t mess around with your pre adjusted beatmatch on decks 1 and 2.
SYNC + High EQ = Mid EQ decks 1 or 2
SYNC + Filter = Filter for decks 3 or 4
SHIFT + Load song on decks 1 or 2 = Load song on decks 3 or 4
SYNC + Load song on decks 1 or 2 = Increase / Decrease Waveform zoom
SHIFT + Cue (phone) = Cue for decks 3 or 4
SYNC + Cue (phone) = Time elapsed/remaining on decks 1 or 2
SYNC + Song Browser Push Button = Preview
FX SECTION
Level deck 1 = FX2 Wet/Dry on all decks
SYNC + Level deck 1 = FX1 and 3 Wet/Dry on all decks
Level deck 2 = FX 1, 2 and 3 Parameter on all decks
SHIFT + FX 1, 2 or 3 = Enable FX 1, 2 or 3 on decks 3 or 4
SYNC + FX 1 = FX 1, 2 and 3 Routing Acapella
SYNC + FX 2 = FX 1, 2 and 3 Routing Instrumental
SYNC + FX 3 (deck 1) = Adjust Tempo Range
SYNC + FX 3 (deck 2) = Preview Forward
LOOP SECTION
SHIFT + Encoder deck 1 = FX1 Select
SHIFT + Encoder deck 2 = FX2 Select
UNDER JOG WHEELS SECTION
Vinyl = Neural mix Acapella + FX 3 (I use Echo on this one)
Key lock = Neural mix Instrumental
SHIFT + Key lock = Key lock
SHIFT + Vinyl = Slip Mode
SYNC + Vinyl = Beat jump 8 beats backward
SYNC + Key lock = Beat jump 8 beats forward
Parameter 1 < = Cue for decks 3 or 4
Parameter 1 > = Play/Pause for decks 3 or 4
SHIFT + Parameter 1 < = Jump to beginning of song decks 3 or 4
SHIFT + Parameter 1 > = Reverse decks 3 or 4
SYNC + Parameter 1 < = Key- decks 3 or 4
SHIFT + Parameter 1 > = Key+ decks 3 or 4
PADS SECTION
HOT CUE
SYNC + Hot Cues 4 and 8 = Key + and Key - decks 1 or 2
AUTOLOOP
Pads 1-4 = Bounce Loop 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and 1 beat on decks 1 or 2
Pads 1-4 = Bounce Loop Drums 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and 1 beat on decks 1 or 2
Pads 5 to 7 = Neural Mix 3 channel decks 1 or 2
Pad 8 = Neural Mix Acapella + FX2 on decks 1 or 2
MANUAL LOOP
Pads 1 and 2 = Loop In/Move and Loop Out/Move decks 1 or 2
Pad 3 = Autoloop decks 1 or 2
Pad 4 = Reloop decks 1 or 2
Pads 5 and 6 = Loop In/Move and Loop Out/Move decks 3 or 4
Pad 7 = Autoloop decks 3 or 4
Pad 8 = Reloop decks 3 or 4
SHIFT + Pad 1 = Cancel Loop in decks 1 or 2
SHIFT + Pad 5 = Cancel Loop in decks 3 or 4
SHIFT + Pads 2, 3 and 4 = Autoloop 8, 16 and Autoloop 32 decks 1 or 2
SHIFT + Pads 6, 7 and 8 = Autoloop 8, 16 and Autoloop 32 decks 3 or 4
PITCH PLAY
SYNC + Pads 4 and 8 = Select Pitch Play Range Up / Down
LOOP ROLL (Mode + Pad 7)
Hot Cues decks 3 or 4
SHIFT + Hot Cues 1-8 = Delete Hot Cues 1-8 decks 3 or 4
*** Jog wheels control only decks 3 or 4 on this pad mode. On the other pad modes, jogs control only decks 1 or 2. So you can scratch all you want on 3 or 4, that the other decks are not affected. And vice versa.
Still have some room to implement more features, but I think for now it’s at least 95% done.
