i notice that after turning off both locks, they will activate again when i press sync or sometimes when i start automix. i have seen some complains about this from years ago but it seems not to have been changed. this is quite annoying as letting the pitch change is a deliberate decision, and indeed one of the main uses of the program for me is to easily play songs at both higher pitch and speed, including in automix because i am out and about.

i don’t have a recording but narrowed it down that the locks turn back on when crossfader fx is enabled. do all of the possible effects really rely on it?
Thanks for the additional info @theoryhater0. Yes, currently Keylock is required when using Crossfader FX and Automix with Tempo Blend. I will pass your suggestion onto our dev team though. Also, I have adjusted the title of this topic for clarity. Thanks.
EDIT: In the meantime, you can disable Tempo Blend in the djay Settings>General, by setting the Sync Mode to Sync or Off.
Also, if you are using Automix, you can disable Tempo Blend here in the Tempo Adjust Settings:
