Sample record issue

Hello in my window app, I cant create custom saples in samler od add one as seen in video I press record and it it white and no recording samples.

Can anynone help me please.

Device Model (ex. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen):
Version of operating system (ex. iOS 17.3.1):
Version of djay (ex. 5.1.3):
Hardware/controllers used (ex. Reloop Ready):
Hardware Firmware Version (ex. 2.7):

  1. Is the song you are trying to sample a local song or from a streaming service?
  2. If local song, what file format and is the song stored on your internal drive or an external drive?
  3. Have you tried recording a sample with a different track?
  4. Have you changed the default location of your djay folder (%HOMEPATH%\Music\)?
  5. If you navigate to %HOMEPATH%\Music\djay Media Library\Samples\ do you see any sample recordings in this folder?

Yes and folder is empy. Throu my mobile phone it is working. Im windows 11 user.

Thanks @DJ_MKB. Do you experience the same issue without the Gemini Slate 4 connected to your laptop?

No there is no issue with controller, problem is reccording my samples or adding mp3 files to sampler

I understand, but does the issue still occur when your controller is disconnected?

Yes video was done with controller unpluged.

Great. Thanks for clarifying. I was unable to reproduce this on my Windows device so I need pass this onto our engineering team for further review. I’ll report back when I have more news.

So on your windows device it is recording samples? If yes I will try prodjay on another devicew

Yes, Sample Recording is working properly on my Windows device.

Problem solved - Avast was protecting Djay Pro music folder.

Problem solved.
