Hi @Craig_s85, sorry for the delayed reply. I must have missed this one over the weekend.
- Are you still experiencing this issue?
- Did you recently update to Windows 11 25H2? If so, please refer to this help topic and let me know if it helps with your issue or not: My controller is not working correctly after updating Windows | Algoriddim Support
I hope that helps!
Hi Slak jaw
The sound issue seemed to be the audio limiter, I turned it off but then had a lot of distortion. I set the headroom to -16db and it seems a lot better though I will have to test properly tomorrow.
I am on 25H2 though the software does recognise the mixer. If I go into the midi settings each one lights up when being moved. I can try your suggestion tomorrow hopefully.

Sounds good @Craig_s85. Thanks for the follow up. I’ll wait for your additional info soon.
Not sure about the exact wiring and gain-structure, but I guess this might have something to do with sending out phono/RIAA level signal which then is amplified to a line-level signal, but when switching to “thru” mode the level is already line-level but is still amplified as it would from RIAA/phono to line level? which you correct by setting the gain to -16dB…
Maybe there is a bug in “DVS thru” mode in Djay Pro where it amplifies the incoming line-level signal to much?
Good point @olafmol. Thanks for sharing.
I think you may be right @olafmol ,ive had to up the gain to -8db now as when playing dvs I was having to max the channel level on my mixer.
Currently when playing dvs my channel level is around 3/4 & when playing vinyl in thru its about 1/4.
