A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:
-
Ever since the most recent Windows update, my DJ controller has stopped functioning properly. The software rarely recognizes the controller at all, and when it does, it usually only works partially. On the rare occasions that it manages to connect normally, the software becomes extremely sluggish, and the audio suffers from severe popping and clicking an issue that persists even after I adjust the buffer rate.
I have already verified that the correct drivers and controller mappings are installed. I also tried disabling and reenabling the Windows MIDI service (
midisrv), but it didn’t change the results. I even attempted to roll back the Windows update to fix the issue, but the system automatically forces the reinstallation, leaving me stuck in this loop.
