I am an employee here at Roland Corporation. Heres the deal. We at Roland have a exclusive contract with Serato. that means we cannot (at leased for now) release midi mappings for our controllers for other DJ Software.
HOWEVER if the Mapping is integrated by a third party (i.e. Algoriddm) then there would be no issues legally, because thats simply decoding and mapping midi controls. (as VirtualDJ did with our controllers)
I myself prefer to use Djay Pro but until we get a release from Algoriddm, Im gonna keep safe and use Serato. Hopefully we get integration soon!

I have played around with the current version of DJAY Pro for Windows. I am using W10 latest version etc on a Microsoft Surface Book 2. I am also using a Roland DJ 202 which I managed to fully get MAPPED with all functions in DJAY PRO.
The only issues I have in W10 is around the built in sound card in DJ 202. It has one input for Mic and 4 outputs for sound. (1 stereo master + the head phone for cueing) - This board is ASIO based.
Both the master and the cue channel shows up in DJAY Pro - but it seems to be impossible to get it work in the right way. You can only choose one of the stereo channels. Someone was mentioning that ASIO Bridge could solve the problem - but I have not tested it.
Another problem in the Windows version of DJAY PRO is the Microphone support - there is no way in hell to get it to work. (And there is no mapped controllers for this…in the app)
Finally - long story - I tried the DJAY PRO version for MAC / OSX. Now the whole thing shows up and works great with my DJ 202. (I need to redo all mapping…)
I can see all 4 channels + the Mic and can get it to work properly.
Roland DJ 202 is a great entry + mid level board - and you should add this to your supported list.
However - the sound card implementation in DJAY PRO Windows 10 version is not fun at all! You should fix this immediatly so it is running just as smooth as in your MAC version of DJAY PRO.
This implementation has nothing to do with my sound card found in DJ 202 or if my board is on your supported list of devices. I also tried with Behringer U-Phoria UMC 404, Zoom U24 - e.g. 4 channel cards with native ASIO support - and I can just say - your sound card implementation in W10 sucks!

The file location could be problem to find when using these “Universal Apps…like the DJAY PRO has been designed as” but if you locate this directory and place the attached file:
C:\Users"actual user"\AppData\Local\Packages\Algoriddim.djayPro_ysvet2nbq0e5e\LocalState\Library\Algoriddim\MIDI Mappings
…everything will work fine!

I regently made some new tests with the DJAY Pro for Windows and my Roland DJ 202 controller. Using Windows 10 (latest update) and DJAY PRO 1.0.274270.0 the 4 channel sound card (2 ch for main and 2 ch for cuing headphone) in side DJ 202 works GREAT and I could utilize all features!
I am using a Microsoft Surface Pro as computer…and skipped the keyboard…a great setup!
So I have to take back my previous statement that DJAY Pro/DJ 202 don’t work for Windows - it works great!
The only thing I am thinking about to complete my setup is how to get the internal sequencer (Roland have some nice drum machines here) found in DJ 202 to sync its BPM with the Decks BPM in DJAY PRO…Last mission…

Silly me - I just needed to install the drivers. A previous controller of mine was simply plug & play. @angr77 The mapping seems quite comprehensive, is there anything that is missing? Many thanks

To set a hot cue, hit SHIFT+pad
To jump to a hot cue, just hit the pad
I used the BEAT rotary as a dry/wet knob for FX1
Somehow you have to hit the CUE button twice to monitor the decks (as pre-cueing device i set my laptop headphone in Preferences)

Hi angr77 would you be so kind and share your full mapping for the 202 with me. I cannot get the cuing function working properly.
Why is this not done yet and why is there no response on if it will be done? It’s been a year and i’d love to use your product but it seems like you just dont care about the Roland users…

Most features should be there, but there are some changes like the only way to access sampler is though the sequencer, the sampler is now the slicer and the loop section is more like a roll section.
There are some issues with LEDs and I’m trying to see if I can do a workaround to sync the sequencer to a deck (3rd with empty mp3)
Make sure that you use the Internal Mixer and for main output you pick master output for the DJ 202 and for Pre-Cueing you pick the cue output for the DJ 202
If you want to see how everything is setup for the map just read the zip file (or if you cannot read the zip read aboutMapping.txt)
