Support for Screens on DJ Hardware

Hi everyone, please note that the hardware manufacturer needs to unlock access to their screens before we can add support for them in djay. We have reached out to the manufacturers requesting this, but it will help to expedite the process if djay users could also contact the manufacturer and express their interest in having screens unlocked for Algoriddim djay. Every voice helps. Thanks for your support!

it would be absolute wonderful to have my Denon Prime4+ screen supported with Djay Pro :heart_eyes:
At this time i have an ipad running on top of the prime’s screen, which has some drawbacks: ipad has way less storage-space, it looks somewhat fiddly (ipad on top of prime’s screen) and some features are not supported on ipad compared to the desktopapp.
I want this screensupport VERY bad, so that Djay looks like it is actually running on my Prime4+ (just like virtual-dj is capable of)

please please please :heart::heart::heart:

Thanks for the additional feedback @PascalRidder

which features are not supported on ipad compared to the desktop?

@Slak_Jaw How did VirtualDJ get access to Prime Go screen?

There are many ways to ā€œlockā€ hardware to support specific software.

Most probably Denon and VirtualDJ have such ā€œlicence agreementā€ that VirtualDj won’t tell how to get access to screens.

If I don’t want to allow my hardware to be compatible with some sw.
Easy : it¨’s pure cash like 100 000 000 dollars ā€œto get licence key to access all featuresā€ and then you have the support etc.

It’s pure business for HW vendors to controll access to their HW.
