Thanks for the positive feedback @eecy_cee
Hey @Slak_Jaw
…my friend @djessa told me that you released an update and implemented this feature here:
• Improved tempo change during sync behavior: if sync is active, tempo changes on any deck will now synchronize with other decks, regardless of whether the deck itself is currently audible
but with a next update you removed it again right?
I really need the same setting like Essa for my workflow so that the SYNC is always on no matter which decks are playing or not playing.
Right now i fail here many times because i prepare a next deck, ready for a big tempo change and when i move the pitch fader to prepare the long transition and the deck is inactive it disables the sync mode.
Do you think that there is the possibility to make this feature available for some users only? So we can choose if we want to work this way compared to the old way of an inactive deck turning of the sync?
Same thing with the “Relative Pitch Fader” - i think if you make this available for some users to check or uncheck all the Serato guys will follow… i think this is really the last thing thats killing my workflow coming from another software
thanks alot for your great support and fast responses here!
You guys are doing a great job!
best Jannis
Hey @Slak_Jaw, @eecy_cee, @Donn ![]()
just jumping in here to fully support what @djolde mentioned above. ![]()
We both rely heavily on the sync behavior that was introduced in v5.3.2 :
“If sync is active, tempo changes apply across all decks – even if a deck is not currently audible.”
That short-lived feature made a huge difference in my workflow. I often prepare upcoming decks with large tempo shifts before bringing them in – and when SYNC disables automatically just because a deck isn’t playing yet, it totally breaks the flow.
Feature Request:
Please bring this back as an optional setting – maybe something like:
“Maintain sync on all decks (regardless of playback status)”
This way, everyone can choose how they prefer to work – old behavior or new.
Win-win for all users. ![]()
