Synced track returning to original tempo when crossfaded

Hi all

We were playing last night with a mixon 8 and two Mac laptops with Djay

Something really odd started happening. We’d sync a new track and then mix it in - let’s say this was at 112.2 bpm. No problems

Until we’d crossfaded to the new track completely - it would then suddenly jump to its original tempo exactly.

Any ideas why this might be happening? Cant find anything online but also it’s hard to know what to search for.

  • Device model (e.g. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen):
  • Version of operating system (e.g. macOS 14.4.1):
  • Version of djay (e.g. 5.1.2):
  • Hardware/controllers used (e.g. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro):

Your question:

If using crossfader fx, turn off Tempo Blend
Also….
In sync settings change to Sync (you’re on Sync+Tempo Blend)
