I wanted to take another device to gig as a back, but still appears - iTunes aside - I can’t sync playlists right?
Ive said it before, I’ll say it again - crazy.

This workaround might work for you. The video is having a hard time displaying but the title of the vid in YT is “djay Pro 5.0 syncing data between your Mac computer and iPhone/iPad and tips on connecting dj-gear.”
If you try let us know how it works out. Algoriddim should hire this guy.
It’s just soooo hard. it defeats the object.
Hi again @N_C, I understand. The dev team is looking further into options here to improve things, however the cross platform nature of djay makes this more challenging.
In the meantime, this is what has worked really well for my personal DJing workflow. I realize this workflow won’t be for everyone for various reasons, but it works extremely well for me so I’ll share it here for consideration. Several years ago, I switched entirely to Beatport Link Pro. The main reason being the 1,000 track offline locker. With this service, I’ve essentially stopped purchasing music and syncing it from my laptop to my iOS devices. This has greatly simplified my workflow and music management process. I no longer need to be concerned about backing up my music library or managing storage space on my devices. It has also encouraged me to expand my music library into different genres, because my monthly music cost is the same no matter how many tracks I add to my library. Plus with the offline locker, I do not need to worry about WiFi or cellular access when I play my gigs. I know the Link Pro subscription isn’t the lowest cost option out there, but for me it’s totally worth it. Again, I realize this isn’t a solution for everyone. I hope that helps though!
