The big "track plays in itunes but not in DJay for Ipad" debate

Warren,

I’ve now looked at the “info” in itunes against the all tracks that DJay wont play and every one has Kind = “Protected AAC audio file”.

Even though these tracks have been bought through the iTunes store and play on the ipad in itunes, they refuse to play in DJay.

if you right click on them in itunes and try to “create Mp3 version”, it says “the protected file cannot be converted to other formats”

Hi Mike,

DRM-protected songs are not supported with djay for iPad. Only the newer iTunes Store format (iTunes plus) is supported.
