Track jumps forward after manual reloop

I have used djay with my idj pro for years and this is something I’ve never understood:

If I use the auto reloop, the song keeps playing from where the loop ends as soon as I disable reloop
If I press one of the 1/2 1 2 1/16 1/8 or 1/4 buttons it loops as long as I keep it pressed but, when I release it, it’s like the song had kept playing on its own; so if I keep the reloop for 10 seconds, 10 seconds of that song will never be played

Is this the expected behaviour?

Thanks, here is a video

You can see that I start the reloop when there are 35 seconds to go to the end of the song, but when I release it, the song has moved forward by the amount I’ve kept the reloop on, so it’s at -24s
