  1. I recently bought ipad, and it does not recognize my traktor Z1 as a midi device. In my windows laptop it recgonize and i can program it.

Hi @dimension7, do you have a MK1 or MK2 Z1? I’m pretty sure the MK1 is not MIDI Class Compliant so it will not work with iOS devices because it requires a driver install that iOS does not support. If you have a MK2, you need to switch it into MIDI Mode by holding SHIFT+MODE on the hardware.

Z1 works with iOS using the Traktor DJ 2 app. You guys really need to fact-check your answers before responding. I’ve noticed this happening many times already, and the information is often incorrect.

And the Z1 works with Djay on macOS. You guys should add this to your supported hardware list. For some miracle reason, Djay added support for this device, and I hope it doesn’t disappear. Hope more Traktor hardware is on the way.

The Z1 is already working with djay on macOS, and the Z2 should definitely be supported now. I don’t see any reason why other Traktor gear shouldn’t be supported. Many of them are class-compliant, and even without screen support, we’d be happy.

The Traktor Z1 MK1 is not a MIDI class-compliant device. It will not work on iOS with anything other than Traktor software, which uses proprietary protocols. You got your answer, you just didn’t interpret it fully.
