Turning Off Effects: Decay vs. Hard cut off

I really make use of the reverb effect when transitioning decks, but more specifically to build up the beat drop during a song.

The only suggestion I have is something I just saw covered in Traktor Pro, which is that when the effect is “turned off”, it doesn’t just abruptly cut off, but rather decays the last bit of audio played through the effect, while audio played after the effect turned off is normalized.

This makes for a much better effect in my view. I’ve tried turning down the effect to try to get this behavior, but the problem is that the audio still gets the effect applied, just at a lower level, so it doesn’t get that punch I’m looking for.

Can this be something introduced in DJAY? That would be greatly appreciated.
