When I open Djay on Android it shows me a restore purchases link which does not work.
Does this require the Google Play store to be installed to upgrade or what ia required for me to be able to Upgrade in order to record my sets?

Hi @sandfish, yes, please make sure you have the Google Play store installed on your device.
Please refer to the linked FAQ article below for more details:
https://help.algoriddim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014911711-How-do-I-purchase-djay-for-Android
I also recommend that you create an Algoriddim djay account:
https://help.algoriddim.com/hc/en-us/articles/12806719766684-Using-Your-djay-Account-Managing-Subscriptions-Cross-Platform-Access-and-Legacy-Support
I have the app installed on my phone and I have an account created.
I keep getting that screen I attached where the link does not work.
Where can I enter my credit card details for payment?
I tried it on a Samsung Tablet 8, Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 and Samsung
Galaxy Flip 4 and it did not work. Same issue as shown in screenshot.
Can you send me the link I can enter my credit card details so I can do
it manually in my browser?
Hi @sandfish, if you are not using the Google Play Store, how and where did you download djay? Please confirm which version of djay you have installed on your devices.
Aurora Store.
But on one device I use Aptoide:
I have version 5.3.2 but now updated it to 5.3.3. Same problem exists.
Hi @sandfish, this is an unofficial source for djay. You need to download from the Google Play Store as this is the only place to get the official version of djay.
Aurora is Google Play Store. It downloads directly from the Google
server. Except for it does not force you into having a Google account
monitoring your behavior 24 hours a day.
Are Algoriddim customers forced to have a Google Account giving up any
privacy if they´d like to pay for the Pro version?
Hi @sandfish, we currently sell the subscription via the Play Store, App Store, and Microsoft Store.

How sad. What other Apps I can use to record my mixing with my Hercules
Ultra Controller?
How sad. So I bought the Hercules Ultra for nothing. I will return it then.
Strange you only support those as I heard they take a 40% in fees of
your pay.
So there is no way I can pay you without going through a third-party App
store? No Paddle. No Stripe. No PayPal. Nothing?
My sincere apologies @sandfish, but we currently only offer Pro subscriptions through the official channels shared above. Perhaps you can subscribe with a Windows or Apple device instead. Please note that a single djay subscription is usable across all platforms that we support. Sorry I couldn’t be of more assistance to you.

Ultra Controller?
According to the Hercules DJ website, it’s only officially supported with Algoriddim djay. However, assuming this device operates like most standard MIDI controllers, you should be able to MIDI map it to other DJ software. I recommend that you reach Hercules DJ support for more details though. I hope that helps.
Please post here once we can pay Djay Pro subscriptions outside the
Google Play Store, so I will signup and pay.
Ugh, this is horror. Wasted $240 dollar on a controller + import taxes to ship it to my country from the US as it does not sell here.
Only to find out I can’t use it because they do not mention you are forced to have a Google play store account with credit card or you are excluded.
I will file a complain as well with Hercules so they at least mention on their site that before you buy this product you will need to have an active Google Play Store account otherwise you can’t use most features.
So sad I how I wasted my time and hard earned money on this Hercules product.
Hi @sandfish,
Thank you for following up, and I’m truly sorry for the ongoing frustration this situation has caused. We absolutely understand how disappointing it must be to encounter these limitations when trying to upgrade to the Pro version of djay.
Unfortunately, at this time, the djay Pro subscription on Android is only available through the official Google Play Store, and our licensing system relies on Google Play’s infrastructure to process and validate subscriptions. This means we’re currently unable to support Pro features or manage subscriptions on devices without the Play Store installed.
We realize this may not be the answer you were hoping for, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this causes. If you’re open to installing the Play Store and downloading djay from there, we’d be happy to help guide you through that process and ensure your subscription works as expected.
Thank you again for your understanding, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you decide to try this route or if you have any other questions — we’re here to help.
