upgrading to Djay 4 in mono mode

Hi. I want to upgrade to djay 4. I want to put my macbook pro running 10.6.8 in mono mode. Will this work in Djay 4? It does not work properly in Djay 3.1.4. Also will it see my cue marks set in 3.1.4? Thanks.

Hi Rich,

djay will not work properly if your Mac is set to Mono Audio. If Mono Audio is enabled, the system automatically down mixes the stereo sound into mono and therefore djay has no control over the resulting audio whatsoever.

If you install djay 4 on the exact same Mac, then the app should just take over the data you have from djay 3. Both app versions store the data under ~/Music/djay.
