YOUR QUESTION:
What type of adapter is needed to use One library with an IPhone 14 (Lighting apadter) with these two controllers Pioneer FLX-4 and a Denon MC7000?
iPhone 14 Pro Max iOS18.6.2
Pioneer FLX-4
Denon MC7000
Hi @AItheDJakaMT, unfortunately using multiple MIDI controllers simultaneously with Lightning port iOS devices is a bit of a challenge.
- The best adapter to use with Lightning port devices is the Genuine Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter. If you’re only connecting one controller at a time to your phone, this it the one to get. Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter - Apple
- Unfortunately, this adapter only has 1 USB-A port, so if you want to connect both controllers at the same time this won’t work.
- There are some 3rd party lightning adapters with 2 USB-A ports, but in my experience, many of these are poorly made and very unreliable.
- If this is for your home setup and not a mission critical gig, then it might be okay.
- Purchase one with pass-through charging from a reputable supplier with good user reviews if you can.
I hope that helps!
