Just discovered using MidiPads on my iPad as kind of Kontrol F1 controller along with a Kontrol Z1 (in Midi mode) to drive my Djay for Mac. More or less a full control surface w/Soundcard - especially with judicious use of the “Controller Shift Key” mapping (under General Midi options) to double the number of Pads to 128.
