Hello,
My current MIDI mappings are heavily reliant on the selected deck. These MIDI mappings are set to target the “Selected Deck” and are functioning well in my configuration.
I switch the selected deck using two dedicated MIDI controls. However, since there is no visual indicator in the UI, I sometimes lose track of which deck is currently active.
A small visual indicator in the UI (for the 2-deck layout) would be extremely helpful in this regard. This feature was already suggested back in 2022.
Could you please reconsider implementing this simple yet important feature?
Thanks in advance,
Christian
Thanks for the suggestion @myownflashback. I have forwarded this to the dev team for consideration.
Hi there,
I have a small Quality of Life request/suggestion if please, is it possible to get a visual cue in the UI that shows which deck is the “Selected Deck”?
For example, if I am in 4 Decks mode, and I have some MIDI controls mapped to effect the “Selected Deck”, it would great to have some sort of visual cue that you could see at a glance which deck was the selected deck?
Please see the attached screenshot as a mock-up example of what I’m thinking on Deck 2?
This could be a toggle on/off feature so that those who don’t need or want it needn’t be bothered by it.
Thanks to the devs for their considerations, and of course - anyone who votes for it!
Cheers
James
