Waveforms on DJM-S11 don't run smoothly

Device Model : MacBook Air 15” M4 2025
Version of operating system : macOS Tahoe version (Latest as today. The problem has been here for months now)
Version of djay : 5.6.3
Hardware/controllers used : Pioneer DJM-S11 - CDJ-3000 (two)
Hardware Firmware Version : Pioneer DJM-S11 - V 1.05 /// CDJ-3000 V. 3.22

A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:

  • Waveforms that run so smoothly on the computer screen, don’t perform the same way on the DJM-S11 display.

  • In theory, they should perform the same way.

Please check the attached video to see the difference between the two.

  1. Can you please confirm if you are using djay 5.6.3 or 5.6.4?
  2. How exactly are you connecting your Mac to the S11?

Thanks @JP369. So no USB Hubs or Adapters? Have you tried a different USB cable (preferably a high quality one with dual ferrites)? Also try connecting to a different USB port on your Mac.

Correct, no USB Hubs, no adapter. The cable I use is a good quality one that you suggested me to buy long time ago. I also have tried a different USB port on my Mac.
