Wish List - "Needs" in Djay

A few things that “needed” with Djay

  1. Dedicated hardware - we needed dedicated controllers made for Djay from the ground up. Rane One MK2 level quality but made for us the way other platforms have dedicated hardware.

  2. SoundSwitch Support - This should honestly just be a no-brainer at this point.

  3. Support for local tracks in Spotify - For those of us that built substantial libraries of native sound files within Spotify, it would be helpful to have support for those when using Spotify in Djay. For instance, I have a lot of native tracks that I already had built into literally hundreds of playlists in Spotify and they do not show on playlists in Djay when using those Spotify playlists. As a music bingo DJ, this is wildly frustrating.

  4. Offline/Download Support in DJay for Spotify - I know this is more of a Spotify thing, but come on.

  5. Stem support for streaming services - If one can do it, all can do it. (Again I know it’s more on the service end than the Djay end but negotiate).

Thanks for the suggestions @Shane_Bryson. However, it is best to search for the existing individual suggestion topics and upvote them there. If a suggestion topic doesn’t already exist then I recommend you create a new one. While general topics like this are good for discussion and brainstorming, they are not very helpful for our development team as we cannot accurately gauge user demand for each suggestion. I hope that makes sense. Thanks!

Regarding your streaming service suggestions, these restrictions are typically controlled by the service providers, so I recommend you share this feedback with their support teams as well.
