Is the Deck Selection on Layer 2 intended to be modal (only one deck can be selected at at time)? And should the selected deck show as a red LED?

I’m getting some very strange behaviour from the LEDs that make it difficult to understand by looking at the K3 which deck is selected.

@Slak_Jaw - when I try to upload video I get an error “Sorry, new users can not upload attachments.”

Hi @obomoboe, I’ve changed your user permissions. You should be able to upload a video now.

Thanks @Slak_Jaw. I hope this video makes the issue clear. Sometimes pressing a deck selection button makes no change to the colour of the pressed button; sometimes it changes the colour of the pressed button; sometimes it changes the colour of a button other than the one pressed and sometimes it changes the colour of more than one button.

Device Model (ex. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen):
Version of operating system (ex. iOS 17.3.1):
Version of djay (ex. 5.1.3):
Hardware/controllers used (ex. Reloop Ready):
Hardware Firmware Version (ex. 2.7):

  1. Are you using the (build-in) MIDI mapping for the K3 or a custom edit?
  2. Are you running the latest firmware from Xone?
  3. How exactly are you connecting the K3 to your device? Are you using any USB adapters of hubs?

@Slak_Jaw - in compiling the information above, I realised I hadn’t updated the firmware on the K3 as mentioned higher up in the thread. :person_facepalming:

All seems to be working as it should following the firmware update. Thanks for your patient replies!
