Hi all, as the title says I’m wondering if anyone here has the Pioneer DDJ-SX running with DJay, and if so, if it all is running nicely. I see its not officially supported, but thought maybe someone made a file for it.
I thinking of selling my NS6 and getting the SX, but often use DJay when playing with other at least since its easier for them to grasp when starting off, so i don’t want to lose compatibility.

Sorry, the DDJ-SX is just not supported at the moment. However, you can map the controller yourself and if you need any help, just let me know.

Will Algoriddim be providing native support at some stage for this controller? I tend to use VDJ and Serato these days but switch back to DJay if playing with Friends as its very intuitive for the non DJ. At the moment I have to set the DDJ-SX into non Serato mode to use it with DJay, and then switch back to use the others, which is a mild pain. Please don’t misunderstand, I’m pleased there is a mapper available but curious if native support is coming.

Seriously Warren it’s been out for over a year and a half. Its one of the most popular controllers ever. You can’t just ignore these things. You sell DJ software but don’t bother to implement native control for the most popular controllers. This is not the way to gain respect for your software.
So it’s been another 7 months. Is this natively supported yet?
Yeah, native support would be best now, especial with Djay Pro out now, and many DJs may be looking to switch from Serato DJ!
At least if I could get the jog wheel mappings and controller midi sensitivity settings that would be great!
I suppose it’s just a matter of time before they natively support even more high end Pioneer and possibly Numark controllers for the Pros… Great news!
