1/2x and 2x buttons not working without shift

Hello. Sorry for my bad english :slight_smile:

  • Device model: Macbook Pro M2 MAX
  • Version of operating system Tahoe 26.3.1 (a)
  • Version of djay 5.6.3
  • Hardware/controllers used DDJ GRV6
  • Hardware firmware version 1.0.2

I’m using my new ddj grv6 on djay pro and I have a question about the two buttons 1/2x and 2x next to the memory button. The mapping is the default one.

To use it I have to press the shift button to control the loop. I come from serato and I didn’t have to use the shift button for that. I spend time to remember to press AND HOLD the shift button to control the loops.

Is there a way to configure these two buttons for a direct use without having to press the shift button ?

Hi @R_I, welcome to the Community! You should be able to easily remap these yourself using our built in MIDI Learn Tool. Please see below for more details:

You’re welcome @R_I. Simply press the buttons on your hardware that you want to map and select the appropriate MIDI Action.

:joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: I’’ve found the pdf of the midi mapping and found the key code to find the correct line. This is the file if someone need it :stuck_out_tongue:
