Hercules DJ Control Mix (Ultra)
I want to get the Hercules DJ control mix, and know it’s possible to connect two controllers for the 4 channel mode. But I only read about connecting them via usb, at least one of the two controllers. Any of you know of it’s possible to have 2 controllers connected via Bluetooth to play on 4 channels ? Because then I would get a second one.
Appreciate your answers
Hi @SPACEJESUS, welcome to the Community! Sorry for the delayed reply. Yes that’s possible if you manually change all MIDI commands within the mapping on the second controller from Deck 1/2 to Deck 3/4.

@SPACEJESUS one caveat I forgot to mention: there might be some things implemented internally (outside the MIDI mappings) for the hardware that are hardcoded to Deck 1/2.
@Slak_Jaw Okay thanks for the reply.
I’ll check out wether the remapping works with the first controller. But awesome to hear that you can connect two Bluetooth controllers simultaneously.
I’ll post an update when I have both and tried it out.
You’re welcome @SPACEJESUS. Looking forward to hearing back on how it turns out for you!
Hi again @SPACEJESUS. One more thing to keep in mind; djay can not differentiate between 2 of the same devices. So, if for example you connect 2 Hercules DJControl Mix controllers instead of 1 DJControl Mix and 1 DJControl Mix Ultra, your modified MIDI mapping will be applied to both devices. In this case, you will need and will manually select the appropriate MIDI mapping more each controller each time you launch djay. If you are using 2 different controllers this won’t be an issue.
@Slak_Jaw
Ah thanks for the heads up. I’ll probably get an 4 channel controller than and’ll use the mix Ultra just for traveling and mobility. Gonna open a new thread, cause I also have a bunch of questions for that, sooooo stay tuned

You’re welcome @SPACEJESUS
