33/45RPM software setting

Is there a 33/45rpm virtual deck speed setting in Djay Pro? I’m using it with a Hercules T7 and I can’t seem to find a way to make the platters spin at 45rpm instead of 33rpm. When used with Serato this can be toggled in the software settings but I can’t find the equivalent setting in Djay Pro. Thanks.

In the meantime, perhaps this can be changed in the Hercules DJ Control Panel.

Hi there, I really want this feature. I`m switching between 45 rpm records and DjayPro and sometimes I forgot to change RPM on turntables.
It would be great to have DjayPro play on 45 RPM as well.

YOUR SUGGESTION:

  1. I haven’t seen the option to switch to 45 rpm mode when using DVS. It’s a real shame, especially as the competition offers this feature. Here are the reasons why being able to switch to this mode is beneficial:

    • greater precision in Absolute mode;
    • more precise track searching;
    • a more natural pitch feel;
    • more gradual pitch corrections;
    • consistency with Serato and Traktor DVS workflows;
    • appeal to Technics and timecode vinyl users.
      Do you plan to implement this at some point?

Sorry as a DVS user i just don’t see the point of 45rpm, it shortens your time code track length and offers no real value over 33rpm :person_shrugging:

The lack of 45 RPM DVS support is one of the last major limitations for turntable DJs. It’s not only about scratch performance. In Absolute Mode, track navigation becomes much less precise because a large section of the track is compressed into a small portion of the control vinyl. Pitch feel, nudging, and beatmatching are also noticeably less natural compared to 45 RPM operation.
