I have used VirtualDJ, Rekordbox, and Serato DJ Pro in the past, but now djay Pro is my software of choice. I truly love the platform. These suggestions are just a few crucial features I miss from other software that would make djay Pro absolutely perfect for professional workflows.

DDJ-XP2 (16-Pad Pitch Play): Expand Pitch Play to use all 16 physical pads with a wider octave range. Swapping parameters for “hidden notes” is too slow for live Tone Play.

DJM-S11 (Post-Fader FX): Enable post-fader routing for internal FX on the DJM-S11 so channel faders don’t abruptly cut the FX tail.

Customizable Stems Pad FX Section: Instead of just “Stems Solo”, add a dedicated, fully customizable Stems Pad FX mode (similar to Instant FX, but built for Stems). For each of the 8 pads, users should be able to:
• Choose a specific effect (e.g., Reverb Out, Brake).
• Assign it to a specific stem band (e.g., Vocals, Drums).
• Tweak and save the effect parameters (like Dry/Wet depth).
• Automatic Stem Muting: For build-out effects like Reverb Out, triggering the pad should automatically mute/turn off that specific stem layer once the effect resolves, exactly like Serato’s implementation but with full customization. -
Sampler Bank Navigation: Allow hardware Parameter buttons to cycle through and change Sampler Packs/Banks directly from the controller.

Software Crossfader Cut Lag Adjustment: Add a software setting to adjust the crossfader cut-in distance (cut lag) for smaller controllers that lack hardware adjustments, similar to Rekordbox.

Advanced Quantize Settings per Feature: Instead of a global setting, give us independent quantize values for different features (like Rekordbox). In the settings, we should be able to configure:
• Hot Cue: 1/8
• Instant FX: 1/4 (Currently, Instant FX ignores active user quantize values)
• Sampler / Loop: 1/2
• Sequencer: 1/32
