Whilst using a rane 1/ ipad, i was at the bar getting adrink, a kid touch the spinning platter causing a ‘scratch’ noise. No big issue but would it be possible to have a lock option so no matter what aapnyone did on the rane (scratch, press buttons, move fader) is would not do anything. You could then go to the bar/toilet and on your return disengage the option.

I could see how this would be handy. Better than trying to find someone reliable to watch the gear when you have to step away.
It also lends itself to the arena of Automix. You often use automix whilst doing other stuff, this feature would prevent any unwanted interference.

Also agree with this idea it will really come in handy in those sticky situations.
