Ability to reassign Color FX slots on DDJ-800

Hi Algoriddim team and community,

I’m using a Pioneer DDJ-800 with djay Pro AI on Mac, and I’d like to request persistent FX slot assignments for the DDJ-800’s Beat FX and Color FX selector knob.

Currently, when I manually change the effect in a slot via the djay UI, it resets back to the default effect every time I move the knob or reconnect the controller. Since the FX selector is handled through djay’s native DDJ-800 integration rather than the MIDI mapping file, there’s no way to make this change stick — even by editing the .djayMidiMapping file directly.

The ask is simple: please allow users to save their preferred effect per slot, so that the assignment persists across knob turns and controller reconnects.

This would be a meaningful quality-of-life improvement for anyone using the DDJ-800 who wants to customize their FX workflow beyond the defaults. I imagine other Pioneer controller users with similar native integrations would benefit from this too.
